Chiquinho Alves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cafu de Queiroz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cafu de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Nunes F. C's Luís Fábio Torres. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fábio Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Mathias Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paúl Breitner hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Mathias Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Nunes F. C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Rossi couldn't finish the play. If Luís Fábio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luís Fábio Torres sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Nunes F. C's Luís Fábio Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 32 minutes of play, Nunes F. C's Mathias Rossi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafu de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fábio Torres got free with Cafu de Queiroz in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cafu de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Luís Fábio Torres sent off a good shot on target. Cafu de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fábio Torres was the one to do the kick off. If Severino Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Nunes F. C's Carlinhos Matos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ezequiel Toscano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Udo Lille showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Mathias Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cafu de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Torres in the 68th minute of play forced Marasco's goalkeeper Cafu de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marasco's Cafu de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Valadares in the 69th minute of play. Cafu de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Albuquerque in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Nunes F. C's Luís Fábio Torres made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafu de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Nunes F. C's zone, Dorival Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Udo Lille came out of the goal and Dorival Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes, Severino Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nunes F. C and the Marasco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Nunes F. C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Marasco's Cafu de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Torres in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Mathias Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cafu de Queiroz. Marasco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Cafu de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Torres in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Luís Fábio Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunes F. C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
