If Décio Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Correia having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Albuquerque in the 34th minute of play. Tadeu Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot by Aloísio Pires from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Udo Lille's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Chiquinho Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Correia having to make a save. When Aloísio Pires fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 彡ᴘᴏꜱᴇɪᴅᴏɴ ᴇꜱᴘᴏʀᴛꜱ彡's protests and gave Aloísio Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Aloísio Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Jonas Sá fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Luís Gustavo Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Torres's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Nunes F. C's Luís Fábio Torres was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Chiquinho Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Correia having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Nunes F. C's Luís Fábio Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. If Severino Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Nunes F. C's Egídio Albuquerque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Gustavo Correia. Luís Gustavo Correia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 89th minute, Chiquinho Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathias Rossi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Gustavo Correia. 彡ᴘᴏꜱᴇɪᴅᴏɴ ᴇꜱᴘᴏʀᴛꜱ彡's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, 彡ᴘᴏꜱᴇɪᴅᴏɴ ᴇꜱᴘᴏʀᴛꜱ彡's Luís Gustavo Correia got control of the ball when Chiquinho Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nunes F. C's Egídio Albuquerque shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Gustavo Correia but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Luís Fábio Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gustavo Correia was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The 彡ᴘᴏꜱᴇɪᴅᴏɴ ᴇꜱᴘᴏʀᴛꜱ彡 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nunes F. C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
