The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Meoas's Richard Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Gonçalves in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Igor Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meoas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Meoas fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Paulo Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Castro in the 10th minute of play. Armandinho Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Paraense having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Armandinho Maciel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pato City's Luís Paulo Paraense. Luís Paulo Paraense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Montenegro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Igor Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Matorin in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 34 in the game by Luís Paulo Gonçalves from a close distance when the talented Richard Rocha managed to make a qualified save. Meoas's players were relieved. In the 35th minute, Armandinho Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Luís Paulo Paraense. Pato City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luís Paulo Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Tepedino in the 42nd minute of the match. Luís Paulo Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Pato City's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Tepedino came free, but Luís Paulo Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Bruninho Tepedino made the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Paraense made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Bruninho Tepedino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Paraense. Bruninho Tepedino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Luís Paulo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Pato City's Luís Paulo Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Tepedino in the 63rd minute of play. Richard Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69th play minutes Bruninho Tepedino shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Luís Paulo Paraense and just under the crossbar into goal. Armandinho Maciel struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Luís Paulo Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meoas. 74 minutes into the match, Bruninho Tepedino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Paraense, 0-6. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Luís Paulo Gonçalves sped through Meoas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Rocha. Bruninho Tepedino had several of the Pato City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Luís Paulo Paraense as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Breno Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 minutes of play, Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulo Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Pato City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Meoas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
