Waldir Perez took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anderson Peixoto. Anderson Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Richard Borges scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kauã Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Star Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 29 played minutes Star Sports got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Vides. In the 31st minute Emerson da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Star Sports's Hermínio Sanches ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kauã Bittencourt. Kauã Bittencourt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Brasa Futebol Clube's Kauã Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Sanches in the 38th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Anderson Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Terra's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Kauã Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Borges in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Sanches in the 59th minute of play forced Brasa Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Kauã Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Richard Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brasa Futebol Clube's Kauã Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Borges in the 67th minute of play. Kauã Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Borges in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Richard Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Star Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brasa Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Star Sports.
