Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermínio Sanches started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Richard Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Star Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Hermínio Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Sidnei Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Borgess short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Sidnei Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th match minute, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley França to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Figueiredo in the 19th minute of play forced Star Sports's goalkeeper Anderson Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Sanches's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Richard Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Guto Soares made a precise shot to the right of Anderson Peixoto. Star Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sidnei Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Medeiros was a little too slow when Sidney Vides got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Star Sports's Cláudio Brodel got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Guto Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anderson Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Star Sports's Anderson Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Valladares in the 44th minute of play. Sidnei Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Sanches in the 46th minute of play. Cláudio Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Richard Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Medeiros having to interfere. Wesley França charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wesley França hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Inácio Valladares's late challenge caught a Star Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Inácio Valladares got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Star Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Vides to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Alfredão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Otávio Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Star Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When Sidney Vides came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Star Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Vides couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Borges in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Medeiros saved ROSA DOS VENTOS FC from getting behind. When Sidney Vides came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Star Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Vides couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Soares to maneuver through the defense. Sidnei Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Borges in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano de Azevedo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Star Sports booed when ROSA DOS VENTOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Guto Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Anderson Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Star Sports were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ROSA DOS VENTOS FC to leave the ground with a draw.
