Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12th play minutes Tiago Ortiz shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sidnei Medeiros and just under the crossbar into goal. 17 minutes into the game, Tiago Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sidnei Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sidnei Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Evandro de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Medeiros. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of ROSA DOS VENTOS FC booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Guto Soares came free and shot a quick shot against goal 42 minutes in the game, fortunately Guaberto Gamus had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 44th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Cearense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidnei Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Fabiano de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandeca FC the free kick. 47 minutes into the match, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Ortiz came free, but Sidnei Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro de Brito in the 51st minute of play forced ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalkeeper Sidnei Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Cearense got free with Sidnei Medeiros in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 74 minutes, Guto Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guto Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Sidnei Medeiros got control of the ball when Luiz Gustavo Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, Guto Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Gamus. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Gamus should have stopped the shot. From close distance Luiz Gustavo Couto pressed in the 1-10 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 87 minutes into the game. If Alfredão Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute David Prestes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 95 minutes into the game, Alfredão Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandeca FC the free kick. Bandeca FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
