In the 4th minute, Waldir Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kimi Gordeenko took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Bittencourt. Kauã Bittencourt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Tortuga FC got a freekick which was hit by Kimi Gordeenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Terra in the 10th minute of play forced Tortuga FC's goalkeeper Victor Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tortuga FC's Kimi Gordeenko in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasa Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Tortuga FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Martins. If Wanderson Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Isac Rolfsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauã Bittencourt. Brasa Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Rolfsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kimi Gordeenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tortuga FC's Victor Tinoco got control of the ball when Augusto Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Rolfsson in the 34th minute of play forced Brasa Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Kauã Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brasa Futebol Clube's zone, Kimi Gordeenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Bittencourt came out of the goal and Kimi Gordeenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Rolfsson in the 38th minute of play forced Brasa Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Kauã Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Brasa Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Rolfsson came free, but Kauã Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Labora kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Brasa Futebol Clube's zone, Isac Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Bittencourt came out of the goal and Isac Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tortuga FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gualterio Labora hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kimi Gordeenko got free with Kauã Bittencourt in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Brasa Futebol Clube defense, Kimi Gordeenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kauã Bittencourt. The Brasa Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kauã Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. Tortuga FC's Nilton Pereira was substituted for Sven-Erik Asplund. Tortuga FC made a substitution. Genílson Torres replaced Kimi Gordeenko. Kauã Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genílson Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genílson Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã Bittencourt having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Gualterio Labora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortuga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Labora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauã Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Pirani in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Tortuga FC's Gualterio Labora got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Victor Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson da Fonseca in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Tortuga FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brasa Futebol Clube throughout the match.
