Sidnei Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Durvalino Vargas got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ernesto Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Soares in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot by Wesley França from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Ernesto Arantes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to ROSA DOS VENTOS FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Paulo José Torres hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Alfredão Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Arantes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd match minute, 100 Patrimônio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Maurinho Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sidnei Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Valladares, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute, Paulo José Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Soeiro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Medeiros was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Sidnei Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dé Arósio's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, 100 Patrimônio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Figueiredo came free, but Ernesto Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Daniel Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Patrimônio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Maurinho Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidnei Medeiros having to make a save. In the 61st minute Guto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 100 Patrimônio FC's Sílvio Luís Lopez got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes, Paulo José Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROSA DOS VENTOS FC and the 100 Patrimônio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidnei Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Mendes in the 68th minute of the match. Dé Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidnei Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Rosado sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Arósio in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidnei Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Wesley França made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Arantes. 100 Patrimônio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Arósio in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Medeiros saved ROSA DOS VENTOS FC from getting behind. Dé Arósio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidnei Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Arósio in the 88th minute of play forced ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalkeeper Sidnei Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Guto Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Arantes. 100 Patrimônio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Sílvio Luís Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ROSA DOS VENTOS FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
