In the 8th minute Alfredão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Arósio in the 10th minute of play forced ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalkeeper Sidnei Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Rosado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. 100 Patrimônio FC's Dé Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidnei Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabiano de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Arósio came free, but Sidnei Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredão Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernesto Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Soares in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sílvio Luís Lopez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th minute, Guto Soares made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Arantes. 100 Patrimônio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to ROSA DOS VENTOS FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabiano de Azevedo hit a great ball. Dé Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Medeiros having to interfere. Guto Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredão Figueiredo made a kick off. With a little luck, 100 Patrimônio FC's Ernesto Arantes got control of the ball when Guto Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Arantes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Guto Soares sent off a good shot on target. Maurinho Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes 100 Patrimônio FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Mendes. In the 57th minute of the match Inácio Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, 100 Patrimônio FC's Daniel Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 100 Patrimônio FC's Ernesto Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Soares in the 61st minute of play. ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Guto Soares was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Lopez in the 66th minute of play forced ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalkeeper Sidnei Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dé Arósio was slow to take the kick. During this time 100 Patrimônio FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 69th match minute, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Valladares to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of 100 Patrimônio FC booed when ROSA DOS VENTOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Daniel Rosado sped through ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidnei Medeiros. The audience was convinced that Dé Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Medeiros was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 100 Patrimônio FC's Daniel Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, 100 Patrimônio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 100 Patrimônio FC's Ernesto Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Figueiredo in the 90th minute of play. When Guto Soares came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ROSA DOS VENTOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Soares couldn't finish the play. 100 Patrimônio FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ROSA DOS VENTOS FC for a fine match.
