Guaberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Banders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 100 Patrimônio FC's Daniel Rosado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ernesto Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Arósio in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Flávio Arósio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Arantes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 61 played minutes 100 Patrimônio FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Lopes. When Daniel Rosado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when 100 Patrimônio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flávio Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandeca FC's protests and gave Flávio Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. Dé Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Dé Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the 100 Patrimônio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Arósio couldn't finish the play. Bandeca FC made a substitution. If Caco Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 100 Patrimônio FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
