The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Valle got free with Chiquinho Camargo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, NUCUTUTINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias dos Santos came free, but Chiquinho Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maracuja's Alfredão Tróia got a free kick in the 71st minute. The NUCUTUTINHA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Camargo should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Vitinho Trancoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiquinho Camargo, 0-7. 86 minutes into the match, NUCUTUTINHA FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Camargo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Paes. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maracuja would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
