Eugênio Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, ѶEŁĦѦЅ ѶǁЯGEƝЅ ↄⅎ's Léo Lima got a free kick in the 13th minute. With his leg Luís Sarmento managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when ѶEŁĦѦЅ ѶǁЯGEƝЅ ↄⅎ's Ernesto Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugênio Trigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Thiago Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Maracuja's zone, Paulinho do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Sarmento came out of the goal and Paulinho do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vinícius Valle came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Maracuja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Valle couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Vitinho Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
