Vøn der Völke's Otávio de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Panpili hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Ceulemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes US DI BESTI FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaen Fresno. After 32 played minutes Vøn der Völke got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Paranaense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Ceulemans in the 33rd minute of play forced Vøn der Völke's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fikri Muhammed made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jaen Fresno hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vøn der Völke's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fakir Štriker. Otávio de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fikri Muhammed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otávio de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Fikri Muhammed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. US DI BESTI FC's Fikri Muhammed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Paranaense in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vøn der Völke defense, Mathieu Ceulemans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Salles. The Vøn der Völke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano Salles should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Abelardo Mannuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Otávio de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fikri Muhammed. US DI BESTI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
