In the 77th minute, Guarda SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Augusto de Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eduardo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Guarda SS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Lauro Soeiro hit a great ball. SÃO PAULO F.C's Amauri Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho got control of the ball when Zé Augusto de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
