Itacare FC's Gualter Andrade shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Acácio Valadares but with some difficulty. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Braga was the one to do the kick off. Acácio Valadares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sílvio Luís Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Teruel in the 97th minute. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Itacare FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dennis De Angelis was slow to take the kick. During this time Barril do Chaves F.C's players had a chance to rest.
