But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Custódio couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Fábio Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolsonellas ofc's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Couto scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziemowit Scislowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Itaberaba FC's Fabiano Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ziemowit Scislowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Guto Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolsonellas ofc's protests and gave Guto Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Bolsonellas ofc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Hoffmann lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 minutes Bolsonellas ofc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudinei do Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Itaberaba FC's corner Emerson Leal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ziemowit Scislowicz quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Bolsonellas ofc booed when Itaberaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubens Cruz having to make a save. A collision led to Bolsonellas ofc getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Munhoz hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Fabiano Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ziemowit Scislowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson Couto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Luís Fabiano Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolsonellas ofc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arí Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rubens Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolsonellas ofc. Fabiano Vinhas took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Scislowicz. Ziemowit Scislowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 61st minute Abelardo Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Scislowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ziemowit Scislowicz. That made the score 0-6 in the 62 minute of play. If Abelardo Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziemowit Scislowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Vinhas in the 67th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Arí Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolsonellas ofc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Vicente Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guto Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Vinhas scored 0-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziemowit Scislowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 played minutes Bolsonellas ofc got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Munhoz. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Itaberaba FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
