Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aldo Tofani took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beto Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Beto Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th match minute, Guarda SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Netto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Guarda SS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Elano Arce hit a great ball. Hélio Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Meireles made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eduardo Ramalho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Eduardo Ramalho came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Hélio Meireles. But to his dismay, Hélio Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. André Luiz Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Zé Roberto do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beto Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos FC's protests and gave Beto Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Beto Domingues. In the 39thth minute of the game Aldo Tofani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos FC's Zé Roberto do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guarda SS's Eduardo Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Guarda SS from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the game, Célio Custódio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Ramalho. Célio Custódio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The wind increased when Célio Custódio made the kick off in the second half. Célio Custódio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Ramalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Aldo Tofani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Tofani in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Roberto do Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Célio Custódio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Hélio Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 81st play minutes Hélio Meireles shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Eduardo Ramalho and just under the crossbar into goal. After 84 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Santana. After 85 minutes, Aldo Tofani made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Santos FC's Zé Roberto do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Linhares in the 87th minute of play. Lauro Soeiro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Célio Custódio struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eduardo Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Hélio Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eduardo Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
