Otávio Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Valdomiro Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Lamina's Walmyr Neto got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Mané Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Klub Beco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Corrêa in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sport Klub Beco fully deserved thier win.
