After a defensive mix-up in Buzios's zone, Vitinho Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Proença came out of the goal and Vitinho Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Régis Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buzios and the SÃO PAULO 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Buzios getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. There was no doubt that Buzios were the better team. Buzios's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
