Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dinei Rocha took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vivaldo Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Rocha went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. João Pedro de Lima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. With a little luck, Cortado's Vivaldo Borges got control of the ball when João Pedro de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Seco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute João Pedro de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Rocha scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vivaldo Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vivaldo Borges made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aírton Matos sent off a good shot on target. David Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cortado getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. David Lago hit a great ball. Cortado's Vivaldo Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cortado from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Dinei Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cortado booed when THZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. THZ's Didi da Cunha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardo Freire in the 26 minute of the game. Vivaldo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Rocha in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Cortado's goalkeeper Vivaldo Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro de Lima. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro de Lima got free with Vivaldo Borges in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, THZ's João Pedro de Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 36th minute, THZ's Dinei Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, João Pedro de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vivaldo Borges. João Pedro de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, THZ's Didi da Cunha got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, THZ's João Pedro de Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vivaldo Borges. Vivaldo Borges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when David Lago made the kick off in the second half. Vivaldo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Lima in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cortado's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Vaz came free, but Vivaldo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute João Pedro de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, THZ's Fiori Vaz made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vivaldo Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vivaldo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Cortado's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Vaz came free, but Vivaldo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Lima in the 66th minute of play. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by THZ's Maksymilian Rykaczewski. But to his dismay, Maksymilian Rykaczewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Vivaldo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Lima in the 71st minute of play. Cortado's Vivaldo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Matos in the 72nd minute of play. Vivaldo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nascimento in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro de Lima in the 75th minute of play forced Cortado's goalkeeper Vivaldo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vivaldo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivaldo Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 97th minute, Dinei Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0.
