Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Curinhaem's Adhemar Prado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Júnior Lima fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curinhaem's protests and gave Júnior Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Júnior Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Curinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Donato to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Kauan Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Prado in the 8th minute of play. A hard shot 14 in the game by Júnior Lima from a close distance when the talented Kauan Costa managed to make a qualified save. Lamina's players were relieved. Otávio Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otávio Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Curinhaem's Adhemar Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kauan Costa. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lamina's zone, Luizão Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Costa came out of the goal and Luizão Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Dedé Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamina and the Curinhaem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Lamina got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Trancoso. 27 minutes into the match, Adhemar Prado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kauan Costa, 3-0. Kauan Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Prado in the 30th minute of the match. Júnior Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kauan Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Lamina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Júnior Lima hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Júnior Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Kauan Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Curinhaem getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marcelinho Falcão hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Corrêa to make the kick off. A collision led to Lamina getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Edson Favoretto hit a great ball. Kauan Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Prado in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emerson Dracena during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emerson Dracena hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eliseu Custódio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geraldo Corrêa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 61 minute of play. If Geraldo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adhemar Prado came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Curinhaem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Prado couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, Curinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lamina booed when Curinhaem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curinhaem's zone, Otávio Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Custódio came out of the goal and Otávio Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lamina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
