THZ's Maksymilian Rykaczewski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Cabral in the 11th minute of play forced THZ's goalkeeper Glauco Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, THZ's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Sousa came free, but Glauco Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiori Vaz's late challenge caught a Operário Laranjeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes THZ got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Vaz. After 18 minutes, Fausto Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Operário Laranjeiras and the THZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Operário Laranjeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksymilian Rykaczewski in the 19th minute. Glauco Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Glauco Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Sousa in the 47th minute of the match.

With a little luck, THZ's Glauco Sarmento got control of the ball when Sandro Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. THZ's Glauco Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save THZ from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, José Carlos Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Maksymilian Rykaczewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Operário Laranjeiras's Hudson Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, THZ's Aírton Matos got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to Operário Laranjeiras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cícero Dionísio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Operário Laranjeiras's zone, Maksymilian Rykaczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Bastos came out of the goal and Maksymilian Rykaczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glauco Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Cícero Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Glauco Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Operário Laranjeiras's Hudson Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Rykaczewski in the 82nd minute of play. When Fausto Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. The supporters of THZ booed when Operário Laranjeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 88th minute when Maksymilian Rykaczewski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dinei Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hudson Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head.
