Vivaldo Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Klub Beco's Marcinho Esteves. But to his dismay, Marcinho Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Vivaldo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Sport Klub Beco's Marcinho Esteves made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vivaldo Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Sport Klub Beco booed when Cortado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Klub Beco's Yuri Aparecido. But to his dismay, Yuri Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Mathias Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Klub Beco's Marcinho Esteves. But to his dismay, Marcinho Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 35 minutes into the game, Sport Klub Beco's Theo von Fraunhofen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vivaldo Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Aparecido in the 39th minute of play forced Cortado's goalkeeper Vivaldo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Luís Fabiano de Lima notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Cortado's Vivaldo Borges. Vivaldo Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Cortado's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Esteves came free, but Vivaldo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilmar Montenegro made a kick off. Vivaldo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo von Fraunhofen in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cortado defense, Yuri Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Borges. The Cortado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Borges should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Sport Klub Beco's Marcinho Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo von Fraunhofen in the 61st minute of play forced Cortado's goalkeeper Vivaldo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vivaldo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Theo von Fraunhofen made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Borges. Cortado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Sport Klub Beco made a substitution. Mané Dante replaced Marcinho Esteves. Yuri Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Vivaldo Borges made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Luís Fabiano de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vivaldo Borges. Cortado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fabiano de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Klub Beco's Luís Fabiano de Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vivaldo Borges. That made the score 0-13 after 75 minutes of play. Vivaldo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano de Lima in the 78th minute of the match. Cortado's Vivaldo Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cortado from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Nilmar Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cortado were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Sport Klub Beco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nilmar Montenegro took the corner. The corner led Cortado's Nilmar Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Dário Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vivaldo Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Dante in the 87th minute. Yuri Aparecido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vivaldo Borges firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute, Sport Klub Beco's Mané Dante ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vivaldo Borges. Vivaldo Borges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Mané Dante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Vivaldo Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cortado's Vivaldo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano de Lima in the 96th minute of play. Sport Klub Beco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
