Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baltazar Fernandez got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Lima during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Curinhaem getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Júnior Lima hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Buzios got a corner. Curinhaem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maicon Vieira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dieguinho Batista was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Buzios's Igor Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Lima in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Buzios got a freekick which was hit by Régis Berger. In the 11thth minute of the game Júnior Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buzios's Igor Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Magno Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júnior Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Buzios's Igor Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Lima in the 20th minute of play. Eliseu Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Barbosa in the 23rd minute of the match. Eliseu Custódio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Baltazar Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Maicon Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Curinhaem's Júnior Lima got a free kick in the 30th minute. Baltazar Fernandez came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliseu Custódio could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Buzios's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Proença came free, but Igor Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júnior Lima to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Magno Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buzios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Buzios's Dieguinho Batista in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curinhaem's goalie prevented a goal. Magno Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Baltazar Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Baltazar Fernandez sped through Curinhaem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Custódio. Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Curinhaem defense, Magno Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Custódio. The Curinhaem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Custódio should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Buzios's Magno Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
