Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júnior Lima started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, THZ's Maksymilian Rykaczewski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júnior Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute of the match, Aírton Matos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Custódio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Curinhaem's zone, Fiori Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Custódio came out of the goal and Fiori Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Emerson Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curinhaem and the THZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curinhaem's Emerson Dracena got a free kick in the 17th minute. Maksymilian Rykaczewski struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Eliseu Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THZ. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dinei Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. THZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, THZ's Eliseu Custódio threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinei Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Glauco Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Proença in the 27th minute of play. Walme Beloki hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eliseu Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksymilian Rykaczewski in the 33rd minute. João Pedro de Lima came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliseu Custódio could save by the left post. If Maksymilian Rykaczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Dracena got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 40 played minutes Curinhaem got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Dracena. In the 41st minute, Dinei Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maksymilian Rykaczewski struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eliseu Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THZ. Maksymilian Rykaczewski in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliseu Custódio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Dinei Rocha made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, THZ's João Pedro de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Maksymilian Rykaczewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maksymilian Rykaczewski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Dinei Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Custódio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When João Pedro de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the THZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro de Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Jonas Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fiori Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THZ's protests and gave Fiori Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Fiori Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro de Lima took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Custódio. Eliseu Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that João Pedro de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Custódio was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Eliseu Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Rocha in the 73rd minute of play. Afonsinho Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Dinei Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the THZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Rocha couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro de Lima in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Custódio saved Curinhaem from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Curinhaem's zone, Maksymilian Rykaczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Custódio came out of the goal and Maksymilian Rykaczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Rocha in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Dinei Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu Custódio. Curinhaem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dinei Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Custódio having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. THZ fully deserved thier win.
