Paulão Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Cookie é Bom F.C.'s Guto Paiva got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cookie é Bom F.C.'s zone, Eusebiu Arvinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Zonta came out of the goal and Eusebiu Arvinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Desbravadores F C booed when Cookie é Bom F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ronaldo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Ronaldo Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cookie é Bom F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cookie é Bom F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Adan Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Zonta having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Desbravadores F C's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Lopez came free, but Paulão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

52 minutes into the game, Luca Crăciun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desbravadores F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cookie é Bom F.C. the free kick. Luca Crăciun hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Desbravadores F C's Eusebiu Arvinte got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Arvinte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jairo Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Adan Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Cookie é Bom F.C.'s Ronaldo Borges dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Christian Montenegro's late challenge caught a Cookie é Bom F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Desbravadores F C's Christian Montenegro got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jairo Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Massa in the 76th minute of play. If Geovânio Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th match minute, Cookie é Bom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Cookie é Bom F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
