Eusebiu Arvinte started the match with the kick off. Geovânio Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fabrício Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Arantes in the 10th minute of the match. Eusebiu Arvinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Doni Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ajacio SS's protests and gave Doni Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ajacio SS's Doni Arantes got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 18 played minutes Desbravadores F C got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Massa. In the 19th minute, Adan Leheren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabrício Diniz. The goal made the score 1-0. If Geovânio Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebiu Arvinte in the 23rd minute. Paulão Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Reinaldo Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebiu Arvinte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabrício Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto do Valle made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Gilberto do Valle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulão Barreto. Gilberto do Valle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ajacio SS's Fabrício Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Arvinte in the 58th minute of play. Reinaldo Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paulão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Montenegro in the 71st minute of the match. Gilberto do Valle scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eusebiu Arvinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajacio SS's Reinaldo Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Leheren in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusebiu Arvinte struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fabrício Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desbravadores F C. Adan Leheren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrício Diniz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Eusebiu Arvinte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desbravadores F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebiu Arvinte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reinaldo Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Paulão Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajacio SS. Ajacio SS were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Desbravadores F C's much stronger midfield.
