Dênis Pernambucano started the match with the kick off. Eusébio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fantasialunatica's goalkeeper Jefferson Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Varela. Waldemar Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Waldemar Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lokomotiva F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Fantasialunatica's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Melo came free, but Jefferson Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Garcia in the 13th minute of play. Enio de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Joel Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fantasialunatica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiva F.C. the free kick. After 16 played minutes Fantasialunatica got a freekick which was hit by Joel Vander. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Valladares in the 30th minute of play forced Lokomotiva F.C.'s goalkeeper Fellipe Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fantasialunatica's Jefferson Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Fantasialunatica from getting a goal against them. Fellipe Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Ciro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lokomotiva F.C.'s Luís Fábio Pinheiro was substituted for Juarês Melo. Lokomotiva F.C.'s Frédson Mello was substituted for Paulo Renato Carneiro. Fellipe Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Garcia in the 53rd minute of play. Jefferson Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Horácio Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokomotiva F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Ciro Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Fellipe Dracena, making the score, 1-1. Fellipe Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Pernambucano in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Lokomotiva F.C. booed when Fantasialunatica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Luís Fábio Pinheiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Paulista skillfully saved the ball. Dênis Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Dracena having to interfere. Dênis Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Lokomotiva F.C.'s goalkeeper Fellipe Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Augusto Soeiro. 81 minutes into the match, Fantasialunatica's Dudu Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fellipe Dracena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Fábio Pinheiro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fellipe Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lokomotiva F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fantasialunatica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
