Spectators: 5881 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dênis Pernambucano got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Fantasialunatica's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Leheren came free, but Jefferson Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Paulista came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Desbravadores F C's Adan Leheren. But to his dismay, Adan Leheren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Garcia in the 20th minute of play forced Desbravadores F C's goalkeeper Paulão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Mattos's late challenge caught a Fantasialunatica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Mattos helped the player get up and apologised. Natanael Mattos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Arvinte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Paulista. Fantasialunatica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Arvinte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th minute Adan Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Dênis Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulão Barreto. Desbravadores F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Eusebiu Arvinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. During the 44th minute of the match Natanael Mattos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Natanael Mattos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Desbravadores F C getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Natanael Mattos hit a great ball. Desbravadores F C's Paulão Barreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Desbravadores F C from getting a goal against them. After the first half Desbravadores F C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Leheren to strike the kick off in the second half. Adan Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jefferson Paulista made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Edgar de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Samuel Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dênis Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fantasialunatica's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ciro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Fantasialunatica's Dênis Pernambucano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jefferson Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Montenegro in the 83rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Fantasialunatica got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Valladares. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
