Fantasialunatica's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dênis Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Nagashow SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Cosme to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Damião during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Severino Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Paulista came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Nagashow SC's Elói Simões. But to his dismay, Elói Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Fantasialunatica's goalkeeper Jefferson Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adilson Ferreira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Zonta to make the kick off. Silvinho do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dudu Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Silvinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nagashow SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fantasialunatica the free kick. Adilson Ferreira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Dênis Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Silvinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fantasialunatica's Dudu Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvinho do Vale. That made the score 1-1 after 71 minutes of play. Dênis Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvinho do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dênis Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuel Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jefferson Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Zonta in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Ciro Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Silvinho do Vale to make any attempt to save it. Dudu Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Silvinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fantasialunatica players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nagashow SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
