Hyllos Roros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Hyllos Roros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mauro da Mata was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Taio Macia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro da Mata came out and tried to block the shot, but Taio Macia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Borussia de Madrid's Percy Valle got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Taio Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Amílton Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pubas and the Borussia de Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Pubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pubas's Amílton Coelho got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pubas's zone, Hyllos Roros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro da Mata came out of the goal and Hyllos Roros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Hyllos Roros took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mauro da Mata to make any attempt to save it. Borussia de Madrid's Silvério Dionísio suffered a sore foot after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Pubas's Amílton Coelho got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Amílton Coelho off the ground. Borussia de Madrid made a substitution. Nilson Severo replaced Silvério Dionísio. In the 44th match minute, Pubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Taio Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mauro da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taio Macia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taio Macia in the 51st minute of play forced Pubas's goalkeeper Mauro da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hyllos Roros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Luís Fernando Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia de Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fernando Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Hyllos Roros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Toscano in the 70th minute of play forced Pubas's goalkeeper Mauro da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia de Madrid's Zé Pedro Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia de Madrid from getting a goal against them. When Nilson Severo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia de Madrid's protests and gave Nilson Severo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Borussia de Madrid getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nilson Severo hit a great ball. Nilson Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Borussia de Madrid were the better team. Borussia de Madrid's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
