If Delfim Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nazaro booed when NAVAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obar Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nazaro's Gilson de Mendonça in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NAVAS's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Nazaro's Robinho Rodrigues got control of the ball when Paulinho McLaren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Gilson de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson de Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto de Godoi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Fausto de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Robinho Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Delfim Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robinho Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Paulinho McLaren sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match Armando Braga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Camargo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes, Nazaro's Severo Xabat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Camargo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nazaro reached it. When Joaquim Torres fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nazaro's protests and gave Joaquim Torres a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Aílton Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Júlio Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aílton Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilson de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Camargo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho McLaren in the 63rd minute of play forced Nazaro's goalkeeper Robinho Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nazaro booed when NAVAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. 杜乐辉 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of NAVAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nazaro:s goal. NAVAS's Paulinho McLaren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in NAVAS's zone, Gilson de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Camargo came out of the goal and Gilson de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nazaro's Delfim Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Nazaro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NAVAS.
