Spectators: 5232 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1126, VIP seats: 106) Lauro Guimarães made the kick off and thus started the match. Douglas Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prosper Lebraud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Lambari got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Brasil. 11 minutes into the game, Marcel de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Praia Grande MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lambari the free kick. After 11 played minutes Praia Grande MZC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel de Mendonça. Reginaldo Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Praia Grande MZC's Prosper Lebraud made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Soares in the 18th minute of the match. Douglas Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Soares in the 24th minute of play. Luiz Soares took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Tasso. Douglas Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Claudio Borghi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Borghi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Praia Grande MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Borghi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Soares in the 40th minute of play forced Lambari's goalkeeper Douglas Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Lauro Guimarães fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hortêncio Gonçalves, passed just outside the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prosper Lebraud to make the kick off. Lauro Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Gonçalves having to interfere. Lauro Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Guimarães in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Lambari booed when Praia Grande MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Praia Grande MZC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
