If Lauro Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Lara in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lambari's Vito Camargo. After a defensive mix-up in Walt Disney's zone, Vito Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baron Van de Goor came out of the goal and Vito Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu da Mata in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Lambari's Lauro Guimarães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baron Van de Goor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Mateusz Rasiak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Douglas Tasso. Mateusz Rasiak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Baltazar Mello hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gugu da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Douglas Tasso made a huge save. In the 41st minute Lauro Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baron Van de Goor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lambari were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Walt Disney's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orlando Arce took the corner. The supporters of Walt Disney booed when Lambari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Lauro Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Walt Disney's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Sergipano came free, but Baron Van de Goor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro de Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Tasso. Lambari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Walt Disney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Romero to maneuver through the defense. Walt Disney's Baron Van de Goor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Guimarães in the 62nd minute of play. Douglas Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Soeiro in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lambari's zone, Mateusz Rasiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Tasso came out of the goal and Mateusz Rasiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Walt Disney's João Augusto Soeiro in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lambari's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute Lauro Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baron Van de Goor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lambari's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Walt Disney had won, even though Lambari had held more of the ball.
