Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto de Godoi started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Paulinho McLaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAVAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho McLaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Fausto de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Júlio Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Camargo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Diogo Guedes sent off a good shot on target. Hortêncio Tepedino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Coaraci's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hortêncio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute of the match, Diogo Guedes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Júlio Camargo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. NAVAS's Júlio Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Tepedino in the 29th minute of play. Mazinho Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Coaraci's Hortêncio Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, NAVAS's Renato Pitta got a free kick in the 44th minute. Coaraci's Edgard Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho McLaren in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Tepedino to make the kick off. Júlio Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Tepedino in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Diogo Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Júlio Camargo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Giovanni Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coaraci's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAVAS the free kick. A collision led to Coaraci getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Giovanni Penha hit a great ball. Júlio Camargo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Guedes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Fausto de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Gonçalves in the 72nd minute of play forced Coaraci's goalkeeper Edgard Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto de Godoi in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, NAVAS's Fausto de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, NAVAS's Fausto de Godoi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Diogo Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Fausto de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Coaraci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Fausto de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAVAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NAVAS's Júlio Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Tepedino in the 84th minute of play. Fausto de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Tavares having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, NAVAS's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Tepedino came free, but Júlio Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Coaraci had won after a very even match.
