Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Prosper Lebraud made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nilson Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilson Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prosper Lebraud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mauro da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nilson Vaz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Rodrigues in the 11th minute of play forced Praia Grande MZC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Pubas's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Lebraud came free, but Mauro da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Amadeu Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pubas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hortêncio Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nilson Vaz sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Amadeu Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Gonçalves was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Rodrigues in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Praia Grande MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Borghi to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes of play, Pubas's Nilson Vaz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hortêncio Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prosper Lebraud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Praia Grande MZC's Hortêncio Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Pubas booed when Praia Grande MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Borghi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Praia Grande MZC's Hortêncio Gonçalves got control of the ball when Nilson Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hortêncio Gonçalves was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Manoel Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manoel Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The Praia Grande MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Gonçalves should have stopped the shot. Hortêncio Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Pubas's Amadeu Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Vaz took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Gonçalves. Hortêncio Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Pubas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Praia Grande MZC for a fine match.
