Paulo José Fontes hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Nazaro's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Netto came free, but Robinho Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nazaro's Armando Braga got a free kick in the 21st minute. Rony de Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Robinho Rodrigues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Aílton Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Paulo José Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nazaro and the Herreria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson de Mendonça in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gilson de Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Herreria getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dorian Rezende hit a great ball. Severo Xabat hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Herreria's zone, Paulo José Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Ramos came out of the goal and Paulo José Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Seco in the 60th minute of play forced Nazaro's goalkeeper Robinho Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazaro's Robinho Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony de Toledo in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Delfim Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68thth minute of the game Gilson de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herreria's Emanuel Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arí Seco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gilson de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gilson de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robinho Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Netto in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Gilson de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Ramos. Herreria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
