Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taciua's Rogério Motta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Motta in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute Rogério Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fred Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eriberto Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cresciuma's goalkeeper Eriberto Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Motta. In the 22nd minute, Marcelinho Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Eriberto Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Taciua's Rogério Motta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 minutes of play, Taciua's Fred Trancoso made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Taciua's Cléber Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Leite in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Aloísio Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cresciuma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Eriberto Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléber Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Leite in the 45th minute of play. Cresciuma's Eriberto Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cresciuma from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Felippe do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Elói Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cléber Miranda. That made the score 1-4 in the 51 minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Taciua's Marcelinho Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Taciua's zone, Felippe do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber Miranda came out of the goal and Felippe do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elói Leite in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cléber Miranda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Taciua's Cléber Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Taciua from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Trancoso in the 67th minute of play. Cresciuma's Eriberto Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Motta in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Aloísio Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Nascimento came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taciua's Ronaldo Pimenta. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. After 75 minutes of play, Taciua's André Lara made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute André Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eriberto Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rogério Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogério Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cresciuma's Dênis da Fonseca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cléber Miranda. That made the score 4-5 after 85 minutes of play. Eriberto Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói Leite came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cléber Miranda could save by the left post. Ivo Hermes's late challenge caught a Taciua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. Ivo Hermes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Eriberto Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Trancoso in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes Cresciuma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogério Motta who took care of the corner kick. After 95 played minutes Cresciuma got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Hermes. Cresciuma's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
