They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Sedat Akay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Baía do Penhasco's André Luís Cordeiro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match, Ahmet Sedat Akay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frédson Passos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frédson Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Passos was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Afonso de Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frédson Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Ahmet Sedat Akay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frédson Passos skillfully saved the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FlaStyller walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
