With an all-out effort, OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s Eliseu Chaves threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fábio Pernambucano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dráuzio Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliseu Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Quinito in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s corner Fábio Pernambucano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eliseu Chaves quite easily take care of the ball. OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s Uriel Quinito got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseu Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Pernambucano in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Uriel Quinito managed to get in a good position for a shot. OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Quinito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Uriel Quinito could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Eliseu Chaves however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bernardinho Fonseca hit a great ball. Dinei Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Frank Sartori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uriel Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Uriel Quinito notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ViraLataCaramelo U18's Eliseu Chaves. Eliseu Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fábio Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Uriel Quinito notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ViraLataCaramelo U18's Eliseu Chaves. Eliseu Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Messias in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank Sartori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 72 played minutes ViraLataCaramelo U18 got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Porto. After having played for 75 minutes, Fábio Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ViraLataCaramelo U18's zone, Uriel Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Chaves came out of the goal and Uriel Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Chaves having to interfere.
