ViraLataCaramelo U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Buksa got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Messias got free with Fausto Dantas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmílson Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Simão Severo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Severo couldn't finish the play. Fausto Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Cosme in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, José Augusto Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. ViraLataCaramelo U18's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
