But to his dismay, Henrique Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benjamin Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Umbrella Futebol Clube booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Henrique Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Veloso came out of the goal and Henrique Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Cordeiro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fernando Veloso made a huge save. Fernando Veloso was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Wágner Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wágner Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Benjamin Nascimento made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Umbrella Futebol Clube's Victor Donatello. If Wágner Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wágner Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Benjamin Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Cordeiro came free, but Fernando Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Umbrella Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Umbrella Futebol Clube's Henrique Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benjamin Nascimento made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lauro Fernandes immediately put the ball in play. Fernando Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Andrade in the 65th minute of play. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Benjamin Nascimento was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fernando Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Cordeiro went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Andrade in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Umbrella Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
