The corner ended in Donato Toscano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon did a great save. Vlad Bistreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Anaia Barba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CruLakers SAF's Vlad Bistreanu. Vlad Bistreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germano Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Bistreanu having to interfere. Cléber Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vlad Bistreanu came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Ronaldinho Romero. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Abel de Lara hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A long shot from Donato Toscano in the 29th minute of play was well struck, but Intxixu Porregimon made a really good save at the right post. CruLakers SAF's Cléber Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vlad Bistreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when CruLakers SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anaia Barba to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Anaia Barba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vlad Bistreanu. That made the score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Romero in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Bistreanu saved CruLakers SAF from getting behind. CruLakers SAF's Vlad Bistreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save CruLakers SAF from getting a goal against them. CruLakers SAF's Vlad Bistreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anaia Barba in the 67th minute of play. Mexilhão F. C. were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after CruLakers SAF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anaia Barba took the corner. The corner led to Mexilhão F. C.'s Ronaldinho Romero getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by CruLakers SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anaia Barba was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexilhão F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 74th minute, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cléber Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. CruLakers SAF's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Intxixu Porregimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Anaia Barba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vlad Bistreanu. The goal made the score 0-6. The audience was convinced that Cléber Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Intxixu Porregimon was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Bittencourt during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Bittencourt hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mexilhão F. C. played a much better game than CruLakers SAF and deserved their victory. The CruLakers SAF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
