After a rather tough play, Inacio F.C.'s Arí Toscano got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Christiano Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Christiano Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severiano Nel to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Inacio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Velasco came free, but João Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Inacio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Babicki in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Arí Toscano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel. Gláuber Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Nel succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Inacio F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
