When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wágner Cordeiro made a kick off. Henrique Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nono Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Caco Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Secco in the 95th minute of play forced Umbrella Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Walmir Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Umbrella Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wágner Arruda was slow to take the kick. During this time Destroyers F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Destroyers F.C.'s Caco Secco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Destroyers F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
