The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Bolo Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. T.SETTE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES the free kick. Bolo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Bolo Massa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão de Senna. Chicão de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Eliseu Tavares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurgain Cendegui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Chicão de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Massa in the 15th minute of play. Chicão de Senna came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by T.SETTE's Bolo Massa. But to his dismay, Bolo Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 25 minutes, Agostinho Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the T.SETTE and the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jânio Madureira took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão de Senna. Chicão de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES defense, Jânio Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chicão de Senna. The Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chicão de Senna should have stopped the shot. The supporters of T.SETTE booed when Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Bolo Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T.SETTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Bolo Massa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the T.SETTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bolo Massa couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Jânio Madureira put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão de Senna.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bolo Massa made a kick off. Bolo Massa had several of the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Chicão de Senna as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES booed when T.SETTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Dorival Severo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Chicão de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Chicão de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Mazza in the 66th minute of the match. Bolo Massas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Chicão de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Jânio Madureira sped through Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão de Senna. Bolo Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolo Massa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Chicão de Senna 73 minutes into the match. Chicão de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Madureira's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Chicão de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's protests and gave Telmo Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Rocha. In the 83rd minute, T.SETTE's Bolo Massa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Bolo Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chicão de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Bolo Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 86th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Bolo Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T.SETTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bolo Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to T.SETTE getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Julio Maxin hit a great ball. The Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. T.SETTE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
