Alan Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiaguinho Penha having to make a save. Vânderson Fernandes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Júlio Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Pinho in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Arruda in the 16th minute of play forced Germania F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Samuel Vieira put in a rough tackle. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germania F.C.! Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando França in the 28th minute of play. Tiaguinho Penha came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Germania F.C.'s Válter Soares. But to his dismay, Válter Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Pinho in the 42nd minute of play. Vânderson Fernandes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Júlio Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half SANTASTICO were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Orlando França made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SANTASTICO's zone, Válter Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiaguinho Penha came out of the goal and Válter Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Válter Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi got control of the ball when Glauco Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Germania F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Germania F.C. from getting a goal against them. Alan Prado hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alan Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Válter Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tiaguinho Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estevao Nuncibay during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estevao Nuncibay hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. SANTASTICO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
