In the 28th minute, Raúl Soeiro fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Júlio Godoi. 32 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Peres came free, but Joel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Samuel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, one of Germania F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germania F.C.. Júlio Godoi had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Dito Fantini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Dito Fantini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Dito Fantini slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Freire in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of FLA MQ BRASIL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germania F.C.:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Germania F.C.. Francisco Falcão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Aguiar. 1-1. Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio da Silva in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to FLA MQ BRASIL getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dito Fantini hit a great ball. If Válter Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Fabiano Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Godoi having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Germania F.C.'s Alan Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Aguiar. Joel Aguiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Válter Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Joel Aguiar made a huge save. Dedé das Neves hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Dito Fantini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Godoi. Germania F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Germania F.C.'s Alan Prado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Rosado in the 80 minute of the game. Francisco Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Germania F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Márcio da Silva came free, but Júlio Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Germania F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alan Aparecido. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by FLA MQ BRASIL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Falcão was slow to take the kick. During this time Germania F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 93rd minute, Rafal Pisarczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The FLA MQ BRASIL manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Germania F.C. to win.
