Narciso Ignatius was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Alan Aparecido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alan Aparecido really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Júlio Godoi came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Aracatiara EC's Aaron Shepherd. But to his dismay, Aaron Shepherd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Hermes in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias de Lima in the 11th minute of play forced Germania F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Aaron Shepherd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Godoi. Germania F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Shepherd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias de Lima in the 17th minute of play. César Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Júlio Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Donato in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aracatiara EC's César Vergílio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Júlio Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Vergílio during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, César Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Germania F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Shepherd came free, but Júlio Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Donato in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Donato in the 37th minute of play forced Germania F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Aracatiara EC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Peres to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Hermes during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Matías Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Válter Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Narciso Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Aaron Shepherd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Godoi, 1-3. Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Germania F.C. from getting a goal against them. Júlio Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aracatiara EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germania F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aracatiara EC's Maurinho Furlan got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alan Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Hermes in the 84th minute of play forced Germania F.C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Matías Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germania F.C.'s Júlio Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Germania F.C.'s Samuel Vieira got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Aaron Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aracatiara EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
