UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's Caio de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endrik Sousa in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Endrik Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endrik Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Clube Atletico Guarulhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caio de Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kajetan Jestrimski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 83 minute of play. If Kajetan Jestrimski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner went over the outstretched arms of UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's goalie and right to Lúcio Sena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
